Brivo controls access to your system through a secure Website. You delegate who has access to login and manage your door access control system.

Detailed activity reports show who accessed what when and who tried, and failed, to access a location. Door Access Control activity reports can be viewed by location, person, time, or group. Through a single interface you may view access across multiple sites anywhere in the world.

Access Control Managers can create, edit, and review user credentials for all users in a single web interface. This record can be used to review user activity, generate a security badge or store information in custom fields you define.

Access Control Managers can view all access and denied access attempts by a user. This unified report can show access to all properties no matter where in the world they are located.

User permissions and scheduled are managed by group. A user can be added to the "IT Staff" group which may give the individual access to the all office locations as well as the downtown data center.

Access Control Managers can maintain a stock of key cards and easily assign them to users through the web interface. Lost cards can be "revoked" with a click of the button.

Custom access control key cards can be designed and saved. New cards can be printed by compatible printers directly from the Brivo access control administration pages.

A significant strength of the Brivo Access Control System is the ability to cost-effectively manage many geographically disperse sites through a single web application.

Whether a person, site, or door access control managers can drill down to see the details, status, and history of any element of your system.

Each door managed through the access control system can be configured with specific characteristics including how long it can remain open before triggering an alert.

Compatible DVR's including Speco Tech can be integrated with the Brivo Access Control system so, via the Brivo web interface, video can be viewed that corresponds with door entry events.

Schedules can be defined and applied to users groups and doors and sites. One user group can be granted access to specific areas as defined times. Attempts to access areas outside of those schedules will result in a denial. Schedules can be defined and applied across all sites of for a specific site. Areas (e.g., doors, elevator floors, etc) can be unlocked at specified hours and locked at others.

Access Control exceptions can be defined by holiday schedules. This is particularly important for doors scheduled to be unlocked during business hours which should be locked on holidays.

Notifications can be set to send an email or page when someone is granted access to a specified area or when access to an area is denied. Attempts to access sensitive areas can be monitored and alerts will provide immediate response.

Access to an area can be controlled by group allowing for simplified access control administration as well as rapid response (e.g., access by contractors or cleaning crew can be changed across all sites with a click of a mouse).

Central Access Control Managers can delegate control to others so that any access policy changes are tracked to the individual making that change. Specific areas an individual Access Control Managers can can modify can be specified and delegated. So, the security manager of a particular facility can manage their own access.
